Walking School Bus

Walking School Bus is where primary school children walk to and from school together as a group (the 'bus') along a designated route, under the supervision of at least two adults, one at the front (the 'driver') and one at the back of the group. The children are the 'passengers' and are picked up at specific meeting points or 'bus stops'. The Walking School Bus website is no longer being updated, but it continues to provide useful information about how to set up a Walking School Bus program.
