Waterwatch

Overview

Waterwatch websites for Victoria, ACT and NSW are part of a national community network made up of individuals, community groups and school groups, whose role is to monitor, protect and restore the water quality of local waterways and catchment areas throughout Australia. Waterwatch promotes public awareness of water issues and encourages communities to become actively involved in maintaining and caring for the health of their local groundwater, creeks, rivers, wetlands and estuaries.

Education resources are available on these websites with a range of information, activities and publications available for use in primary and secondary schools to engage and connect students to learning about their local catchments, rivers and waterways.
