Biodiversity for Kids

Overview

Biodiversity for Kids is a site with learning resources developed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service for teaching primary and secondary students about biodiversity in their local environment. 

Resources include:

  • WilderQuest, a "new and innovative way to learn about nature using digital technology"
  • The Mountain Pygmy-Possum: On the Edge (for Senior Geography students)
  • What is a National Park? (for Yrs 3-4)
  • Rainforests of NSW (primary & secondary)
  • Rookery Roundabout (primary & secondary)
